Dear fellow Tablers
It is a great pleasure for RT18 Östersund Sweden to invite Table 18 fellow tablers from all over the world to our home town and the 2010 Euromeeting!

It all started with a series of e-mails flying between the different 18 clubs that had been active at the past Euromeetings. Attendance had apparently been low. Not at least from Sweden… Anyhow, we got the mission to bring it all back to where it once was and now we hope to offer an event that will attract tablers from all of Europe.

Östersund is the center of our county Jämtland, a region that is known for its great wilderness and beautiful nature. The city is situated on Sweden’s fifth greatest lake beyond which we can see the mountains. One hour away is Scandinavias biggest ski resort Åre, host of the alpine world championships 2007.

For those of you who have not yet been this far north at this time of year it will be quite an experience that the nights are very short. The sun hardly sets behind before it rises again.

We have planned a Euromeeting where we will experience a lot of what is unique in northern Scandinavia, such as close encounters with wildlife and experiencing the Sami culture. But we can also offer a very beautiful golf event for those who are so inclined, great food and drinks and of course a great party for three days!
