Map
In the fierce and unfamous waters of the Baltics it is crucial that you
have the correct coordinates. We wouldn't recommend you to sail by the
stars to get to Stockholm... No it's much easier than you think to come
here. Let the adventure begin!
Travel to Stockholm
1. By plane - the cheapest way to get here is to fly with Ryanair
to either Stockholm Skavsta Airport (NYO) or Stockholm Västerås
Airport (VST). The distance from Skavsta and Västerås to Stockholm
is from both locations approx. 100 km. You take the airport coaches to
Stockholm. The coaches are called "Flygbussarna" and you find
more info at www.flygbussarna.se.
The map is from the Ryanair website.

More convenient, due to the distance to Stockholm (45 km), is the Stockholm
Arlanda International Airport. From here to the city you can take the
faster Arlanda Express Train or the airport coaches.
You'll have to arrange the transport from the airport by yourselves with
the regular airport coaches to the City Terminal (Central station) in
Stockholm. From there it's walking distance to the hostel af Chapman (approx.
1,6 km). You find a map
here >>.
2.
By ship - probably for the Finnish tablers coming over the Baltic
Sea, you always have the chance to party on the Viking
ship.
Stockholm is actually a quite small city and built on islands. Everything
is within walking distance and you walk through the core of the city,
from the southern island "Södermalm" to the northern part
of the city, within 45 minutes. You can always use the subway, the buses
or just take a taxi. We recommend the taxi companies "Taxi Stockholm
+46-(0)8-150000" or "Taxi Kurir".
The Picture below shows where the airports are located. Arlanda international
airport is north of Stockholm and Skavsta (Ryanair) is south.
