AHOY!
(in french)
Welcome to the Euromeeting 2009 website matey!
To begin with we, RT70 Stockholm chapter, would like to THANK YOU ALL for a magnificant Euromeeting weekend! We are so much looking forward to seeing you down in Lüneburg, Germany, next summer! Ok, here are some of the pictures from the fantastic weekend - EVIDENCE.

So it was time to stear the ship towards the northern parts of the world again.

We welcomed the RT70 brothers of Europe, the rest of their crew and partners to join us in the beautiful capital of Sweden - the pirate's cove Stockholm - the weekend of June 26-28.
Unfortunately neither Norway, Denmark, France(?) nor Italy could join us this weekend. They are not aware of what they missed out on... However, our great friends from Finland, Germany, Holland, the UK and Belgium came! and ... we are not sure if there really was someone here from France... he turns up in the pictures anyhow.

The weather was the best you could have dreamt of! Clear, sunny skies and 30 degrees celsius!! It was so warm in the sea that several brothers, especially from Germany and Finland went swimming! Stockholm was full with anticipation for all the European RT70 pirates and their princesses. Our distinguished guests had the wonderful chance to find gold in the blossoming beautiful Capital of Scandinavia, The Venice of the North, The city of the Nobel Prize - Stockholm!

Built on 14 islands around one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved mediaeval city centres, the Swedish capital is superbly positioned where the lake Mälaren opens up into the Baltic Sea.
With its 30,000 islands, the Stockholm archipelago is a unique place to spend time all year round, but beware of pirates!

As you know we also celebrate50 years of tabling, since it was in the great legendary year of 1959 that our club was chartered and became a member of Round Table Sweden. The gala dinner on the evening of Saturday 27:th of June was specially dedicated to our anniversary. We had invited all our Past Members, RT- and LC- friends, and ofcourse the fearless vikings in RT14 Lidingö club that chartered us. It was a party to remember!

If you have any questions at all you can always contact our Euromeeting convenor - the most feared and hunted pirate in the Baltic Sea - Niklas Johannesson
(mobile +46-70-7562807).

Yours in International Tabling,
Magnus Hagdahl
Captain of RT70 Stockholm-Brunkeberg
