There´s a new guy in town!
For me as a new chairman for the best and most beautiful RT-Club, No. 70, the RT-semester started with a flying start. I've like never before met with brothers from other clubs, first by ROM - National Chairman meeting - and then by my active participation. The very active participation is really something that was fun and actually a little eye-opening for me.

Since the age of 22 I have visited and then been taken up as a member of RT70. For almost 10 years I have attended every other week on the RT-meetings. My average per semester is more near 100% than 70%. For me, it means that I have participated in about 150 RT meetings.

The whole time I have been amazed by RT70's good cohesion and happy atmosphere. My eye-opener is that all RT-clubs actually seem to have it as well. Now maybe my visits have been a bit doped with meetings with the Gotland clubs and RT143 Stockholm-Royal, but my good faith is still that all the clubs have the same great atmosphere.

My belief is that as a brother in this great fraternity, there are no places in Sweden where I do not have the privilege to meet with good friends, and within two minutes can find a friend for life.

I want to get those words out how wonderful it is to meet new RT-brothers and really recommend this to anyone else. Find a nice meeting and invite yourself, you will not get a "No" as an answer, but you may end up with friends for life!

Today RT70 is a club in change. Since you can not be an active RT-member after the age of 40 years, we have unfortunately had the grief to see a large group of brothers go away until this year. But as they say - "out with the old in with the new".

Today, it is important that all active members captures what has been said by wiser brothers and develops this in the true spirit of the RT - Adopt, Adapt and Improve!

It is important that RT70s brothers extend their networks by actively participating outside our club. As Chairman, I would be proud if I saw that every member of the club sometime during the year did just that. Went out and found new friends and brought the friendship with them into our network. Other RT-clubs that are reading this, take my word and send one member to us so we are increasing our network together!
